PROFESSIONAL
BEAUTY INDUSTRY ‘WOW's CALIFORNIA LEGISLATORS
AT PBFC's 6th ANNUAL ‘WELCOME TO OUR WORLD' (W.O.W.)
Soothing ‘Spa Environment’ On Capitol South Steps
Sacramento, CA – ‘Welcome To Our World' (‘WOW’ to many), has become an annual tradition for California legislators in
Sacramento. Hosted conveniently on the South steps of the State
Capitol building, the 6th annual ‘W.O.W. event was held on Monday,
April 23 and many legislators, their hard-working staffers,
administration officials and cosmetology board members all found a
temporary ‘spa oasis' in which to relax and rejuvenate. Guests enjoyed complimentary services and catered refreshments in a magnificent white 'spa environment' tent.
With complimentary neck-and-shoulder massages, manicures,
haircuts and make-up consultations, guests got to personally
experience the skills and services of the State's $6 Billion dollar
beauty industry while getting informed and educated about industry
issues and advancements. California's leading salon/spa pros from
the local area and from around the state demonstrated the power of
beauty as they helped hard working politicos to ‘de-stress' a bit at
day's end.
Special thanks to PBFC sponsor companies for their continued
industry support: Amerispa, California Association for Schools of
Cosmetology, Cost Cutters, Fantastic Sams, HAI-Elite, Marinello
