Last year, “Welcome to Our World” made attendance history in Sacramento. Hosted on the South steps of the State Capitol building, the 7th annual ‘W.O.W. volunteers and sponsors served up salon/spa services, canapés and conversation for 4 hours to over 250 legislators, hard-working staffers, administration VIPs’ and cosmetology board members. VIP guests included Secretary, State and Consumer Services Agency, Rosario Marin; Director of Consumer Affairs Carrie Lopez, BBC President and V.P. Jerry Tyler and Richard Hedges, over a dozen Senators and Assemblymembers (see photos) and scores of legislative staffers.
With complimentary neck-and-shoulder massages, manicures, haircuts, make-up consultations and lots of personality, the legislators and regulators who oversee California’s $6 Billion dollar beauty industry experienced the skills, talents and passion of California salon/spa pros as they helped California politicians ‘de-stress' at day's end, elegantly catered by Sacramento's Do An Event who created a fun 'Sixties' theme for the guests.
The PBFC (and this lobbying event) have made major change happen!. These changes have had repercussions in every beauty related company, school, and distributorship in California . . . for the better at last. PBFC's accomplishments are a matter of public record.
Welcome to Our World, and the day-to-day work of PBFC ensures PBFC as the ‘go-to’ organization for the beauty industry in California. PBFC and its event sponsors are front and center on the Sacramento political scene.

Platinum Donors - $25,000+ Platinum donors receive top level placement on all event signage, banners, and pre/post event promotional literature and news releases. A company representative is included in primary PBFC group photos sent to industry and consumer press for publicity. Donors at this level are entitled to a seat on the Board of Directors of the PBFC. Platinum donors appear at the top of every PBFC web page alongside the PBFC logo and may have a display in the WOW event tent (considering available space).
Gold Donors - $10,000+ Gold donors receive first tier oversize bottom logo placement on all event signage, banners, pre/post event promotional literature and news releases. Gold sponsoring company representative are included in primary PBFC group photos sent to industry and consumer press for publicity purposes. Gold donors appear in the top donor tier in the footer of every PBFC web page and can have a physical display in the WOW event tent (considering available space).

Silver Donors - $5,000+ Silver donors receive second tier logo placement on all event signage, banners, and pre/post event promotional literature and news releases. . Silver donors logos will appear in the second tier of the footer of every PBFC web page.
