PBFC Announces PPP Opportunity … Placing Our Industry In The Front of the Line!

Congress recently passed and President Trump signed a COVID-19 relief package, which includes $284B in additional funding for another round of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to assist struggling businesses. 

Unlike the prior round that went mostly to “fat cats” and well connected employers, this new round is targeted to small operators, including sole proprietors and even independent contractors and suite/booth renters.  And these PPP “loans” can be structured in such a way as to be 100% forgivable, essentially free money for our desperate shop owners and independent professionals!

While many large businesses have pre-existing relationships with financial institutions, most of our independent stylists, barbers, nail techs, estheticians and other personal service professionals lack those connections.  That is why the PBFC has partnered with an SBA approved lender to begin processing applications exclusively for our barbering/beauty and personal sector industries, which will place us at the front of the line when the PPP funds are finally issued by the federal government.   And our lending partner’s staff is available to help answer questions and guide our industry professionals.
